An Elegant Bed and Breakfast since 1989
Guests enjoy complimentary use of beach chairs, beach cruiser bicycles, beach umbrellas, and beach towels. In addition to a bountiful gourmet breakfast, guests also enjoy afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese served to your table. Off-street private parking is also provided.
At the Angel of the Sea, the atmosphere is casual, fun, warm and friendly. Our many ocean view porches offer countless choices for those looking to relax and rejuvenate while reconnecting with their five senses. From our porches, you’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. You’ll feel the touch of the ocean breeze and the smell of the ocean while you sip wine or tea with that very special companion.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here fifteen years ago and just revisited here for our 15th wedding anniversary just last week. We loved everything from the beautiful weather, the room and exceptional service. The Breakfast in the morning along with sweets & wine in the afternoon were delicious. Highly recommend. We look forward to spending another overnight here hopefully sooner than 15 years.
This is a wonderful B&B. I have visited here several times and it never disappoints. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They serve a great breakfast and afternoon treats and wine and cheese. This all said- the best place in Cape May to view the beautiful ocean and dip your feet in the sand. A very special fall getaway. Thank you!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were Victorian themed and loaded with charm and old-fashioned character. The staff was helpful, courteous and gracious. The breakfast offered the next morning was generous. We’ll be back! Thank you!!
We visited during the Christmas season and it’s beautifully decorated. We stayed in Room #19 with a king bed (super comfy mattress) and an extra large shower built for… 2. Wink, wink. Their breakfast is DIVINE! I had a platter of fresh fruit, and you can choose a muffin or a parfait and then for the entrees (I know, it kept going) a quiche or French toast or Belgium waffle with a side of meat. And then! Yes, there’s more. In the afternoon around 4pm they have “Tea & Treats” and then at 6pm they offer “Wine & Antipasti”. I mean, where else gives you this much food as part of your stay??
Honeymoon King – Room 28
Our Honeymoon King is located on the third floor of our second building. Furnished in rich woods, it includes a king bed, two dressers, and a seating area at one end of the room with an arm chair and chaise lounge. The private bath has a claw foot tub with shower. It is one of our largest and brightest rooms with five dormer windows. It is adjacent to our third floor porch, which has a spectacular view of the ocean and the inn.
Dune View King – Room 3
This is the largest room in our main house and probably the brightest room in the inn. Located on the first floor, just down the hall from our dining room, it can accommodate up to three guests. Furnished in white wicker, it has a king bed, twin day bed, sitting area with table and chairs, a dresser and a private bath with old-fashioned claw foot tub with shower. It has seven larger windows facing towards the sand dunes.
Ocean View Balcony King – Room 6
Located on the second floor of the main house, this is one of our most popular guest rooms. Furnished in white wicker, it has a king bed, a table with two chairs, a large dresser, as well as two additional arm chairs. The private bath has an antique claw footed tub with shower. This wonderfully romantic room has an ocean view and semi-private balcony with a wonderful view of the ocean.
Ocean View Queen – Room 12
Located on the third floor of the main house, this wonderful room is decorated in white wicker and has a queen bed, dresser, and private bath with claw foot tub with shower. With two dormer windows facing toward the beach, this guest room has one of our best ocean views.
